School of Business Administration

      School of Business Administration was established in March 2025 through the merger of the former Department of Business Administration and Department of Tourism Management.

      The school currently has 49 full-time teachers and 13 teaching support staff. Among the full-time teachers, there are 6 professors, 15 associate professors, 21 young teachers under the age of 35, and 18 dual-qualified teachers (with another 6 in the process of application and certification in 2025). Additionally, 13 teachers hold doctoral degrees, and another 4 are pursuing doctoral studies. The school offers 5 undergraduate majors, including Marketing, E-Commerce, Logistics Management, Tourism Management, and Hotel Management. There are 1,426 undergraduate students enrolled on campus.

      The school has established 25 training laboratories with advanced hardware facilities and comprehensive functions. The total value of the facilities and equipment in these laboratories reaches 8.93 million yuan, with an average value of 6,200 yuan of teaching instruments and equipment per student. The school has established various training laboratories and simulation laboratories, including the ERP Training Laboratory, AGV Training Laboratory, Modern Logistics Simulation Laboratory, Marketing Training Laboratory, Comprehensive Business Training Laboratory, Intelligent Logistics Training Laboratory, Online Marketing Training Laboratory, Live Streaming Training Laboratory, Smart Tourism Training Laboratory, Tea Art Training Laboratory, Coffee Training Laboratory, Bartending Training Laboratory, Physical Etiquette Training Laboratory, Hotel Guest Room Training Laboratory, and Chinese & Western Cuisine Training Laboratory.

In recent years, the school has been approved over 70 research projects, including 2 National Social Science Fund projects, 1 National Natural Science Fund project, 3 Guizhou Provincial Philosophy and Social Science projects, 2 major research projects of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee, more than 10 theoretical innovation projects of the Guizhou Provincial Social Science Association, and 15 Humanities & Social Sciences Projects for College and University under the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education. The faculty members have published 12 academic monographs and 192 papers, including 45 high-quality papers in Chinese Core Journals or above. They have also obtained more than 20 invention patents and design patents.

      In terms of teaching development achievements, the school has one Institute-level Distinguished Teacher. The teachers won 3 second prizes and 1 third prize in provincial teaching competitions. Additionally, the school has obtained approval for 2 provincial-level "Golden Courses" and more than 10 provincial-level teaching reform projects.

Adhering to educational feature of "deep integration of industry and education" of Moutai Institute, the School of Business Administration has successively signed cooperation agreements with more than 10 enterprises, including Kweichow Moutai Sales Co., Ltd., Kweichow Moutai Distillery (Group) Logistics Co., Ltd., and JD Group. Together with these enterprises, it has built internship and training bases to carry out practical teaching under the integration of industry and education.
