School of Marxism

      School of Marxism was established on July 26, 2022. Its predecessor was the Marxism-Leninism Teaching and Research Section of the Department of Public Basic Teaching of Moutai Institute, which was restructured into the Marxism Teaching Department on November 21, 2019.

      Under the care and guidance of the Institute Party Committee, the school has developed a relatively complete curriculum system for ideological and political theory courses since the Institutes founding.

      The school currently has 16 faculty members, including 14 full-time teachers. Among these full-time teachers, 1 holds a senior professional title, 10 have associate senior professional titles, and 3 hold doctoral degrees. Many of its teachers have won honors such as "Outstanding Communist Party Member", "Advanced Educator", "Model of Teacher Ethics", and "Excellent Teacher" awarded by Moutai Group and the Education Working Committee of Zunyi Municipal Committee.

      Centering on the fundamental task of "fostering virtue through education", the school undertakes the theoretical and practical teaching of ideological and political theory courses for the Institutes undergraduate students, and gives full play to these coursesrole as the key to implementing this fundamental task. It also serves as the deputy director unit of the Institutes Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Research Center, and continuously carries out teaching and research activities to promote the coordinated development of ideological and political courses and curriculum ideological and political education.

      Rooted in delivering high-quality "Ideological and Political Lectures", the school effectively integrates the "small classes" of classroom teaching with the "large classes" of social practice. It fully exerts its function of serving the local community, continuously strengthens communication and ties with local enterprises and public institutions, and provides services such as theoretical training, policy advocacy, decision-making consultation, and joint learning and research.
