Moutai Institute Participated in the 2021 “Zhi & Xing Guizhou” Silk Road Youth Exchange Program


From December 11 to December 14, 2021 “Zhi & Xing Guizhou” Silk Road Youth Exchange Program was held in Zunyi Medical and Pharmaceutical College. Moutai Institute was responsible for organizing and carrying out activities of “Guizhou Moutai-flavour baijiu industry” on the third day. During the activity, Mr. Li Zengchi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of Moutai Institute, delivered a speech on behalf of MTI to extend welcome to the international youth. Wang Furong, a teacher of Department of Liquor-making Engineering, gave international students a wonderful online course on the topic of Moutai-flavour Baijiu Culture, which deepened international youths’ understanding of Chinese Baijiu Culture.

“Zhi & Xing Guizhou” Silk Road Youth Exchange Program is a brand project of China ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, which is coordinated by Guizhou Provincial Department of Education and implemented by provincial project colleges and universities. It was launched in 2021, and at least 100 youths from countries along “the Belt and Road Initiative” countries will be invited to Guizhou for short-term exchange study every year, aiming to enable young people to participate in the program to learn about Guizhou and enhance friendship through the exchange, so as to achieve the unity of “knowing” and “doing”. There were 34 international students from 7 countries and teachers from Yuxi Normal University, Dali University, Chinese Service Centre of National University of Laos and Chinese Service Centre of Vietnam Haiphong Private University participated in the activity online.
