The lecture mainly focused on three aspects: bioactive substances in solid waste in the liquor-making industry, recovery methods of bioactive substances in wastewater and solid waste, and the use of solid waste extracts in the food field and new materials. Dr. Martino pointed out that the active substances in the solid waste of the liquor-making industry will also be used in the agricultural food industry, the production of new materials, the field of human nutrition, and the fields of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics in the future.

Dr. Martino expressed his gratitude for the successful holding of the event, and hoped to promote the academic and personnel exchanges between the two universities. He also answered the questions raised by the teachers and students of MTI and Chuxiong Normal University on the lecture.
