Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Education jointly issued the Notice on the List of Pilot Programs for the Integration of professional Education and Education for Standardization, unveiling the first-batch national list of such pilot initiatives. Among the 281 selected projects nationwide, Moutai Institute’s Baijiu Brewing Engineering program has been successfully included.

According to the Ministry of Education, the first batch of pilot programs was selected through voluntary application, preliminary reviews, expert evaluations, and public announcements. These programs cover 253 higher education institutions across 30 provincial-level regions, spanning key national industries and sectors related to public welfare such as artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, low-altitude economy, food quality and safety, and modern services.
The pilot program aims to encourage higher education institutions nationwide to precisely align with industrial development needs, and cultivate high-quality talent with both professional knowledge and standardization skills, thereby addressing the shortage of urgently needed talents in key industrial fields.
The inclusion of Moutai Institute’s program in the list is a strong recognition of the university’s educational characteristics and industry value by national competent authorities. Taking this as an opportunity, the university will strive to build a standardization education model with industry influence, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the Baijiu industry and helping the national standardization strategy be effectively implemented in key livelihood and industrial fields.
