      On May 20, the Guangzhou Daily Data & Digit Institute (GDI Think Tank) released the “GDI University Rankings (2026),” in which Moutai Institute (MTI) achieved new heights — ranking 460th on the national main list of undergraduate universities, up 9 places from 2025; and securing 5th place nationwide on the parallel “Top 300 Private Universities” list, rising 3 positions from the previous year.

      The GDI University Rankings (2026) employs a comprehensive evaluation framework encompassing five first-level indicators: educational conditions, talent cultivation, scientific research and social services, social reputation, and international influence. These are further broken down into 14 second-level indicators — including faculty strength, cultivation conditions, cultivation outcomes, scientific research projects, social services, and institutional reputation — and more than 150 sub-indicators, providing a scientific assessment of the development status of 1,205 undergraduate institutions nationwide.

       Moutai Institute not only maintains its position among the top 500 nationwide on the main list but also breaks into the top 5 on the private universities list. This achievement marks a historic leap in the institute’s comprehensive competitiveness, social reputation, and industry influence, reflecting its steadily advancing educational strength.
