Educating Talents with Aesthetics and Culture

In order to further promote the aesthetic education of college students, we should adhere to the principle of aesthetic education and cultural education so as to promote the healthy and all-round development of contemporary college students by improving their aesthetic and humanistic quality. From December 23 to 24, Moutai Institute invited Professor Yuan Dingsheng, a Chinese ecological aesthetician, to deliver a series of lectures on Aesthetic Education: Improving College Students’ Humanistic Quality. Feng Xiaolun, President of Moutai Institute, attended the lecture and delivered a speech.

In the lecture, Professor Yuan took “ecological aesthetic education” and “ecological aesthetic of landscape” as the themes, and brought two wonderful lectures for teachers and students, focusing on artistic aesthetic education, disciplinary aesthetic education, survival and practical aesthetic education, as well as the growth principle, integration principle of overall characteristics of landscape system, and harmony principle of overall texture of landscape system.

Feng mentioned that the aesthetic education course for college students can help them establish correct and progressive aesthetic values, cultivate their noble and healthy aesthetic ideals and taste, and improve their ability to cultivate their sentiment and perfect their personality in aesthetic appreciation and creative activities so as to promote the all around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetics and labour education. This lecture helped the teachers and students to understand the aesthetic methods, improved their aesthetic level, and brought a new aesthetic understanding to the teachers and students.
