The National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences has recently released the list of approved annual projects under The National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC) for 2025. Among them, the project "Research on the Green Standard Army Garrison in the Sichuan-Guizhou Border Region and the Construction of the Chinese National Community during the Qing Dynasty", led by Dr. LIU Wei from the School of Marxism, has been granted funding under the Youth Project category.

The NSSFC is a research funding system established by the state to promote the development of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics and to build a self-reliant knowledge system. The Institute will leverage this approval to further enhance the development of its research team, guiding faculty to focus on key research areas such as fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, the inheritance and innovation of excellent traditional Chinese culture, and regional economic and social development. We will conduct in-depth research on philosophy and social sciences topics with regional characteristics, thereby contributing to the prosperity of philosophy and social sciences.
