Recently, the Guizhou Provincial Final of the China International College Students' Innovation Competition (2025) concluded successfully. Students from Moutai Institute claimed 4 Gold Awards, 6 Silver Awards, and 5 Bronze Awards, once again setting a new record for the Institute in terms of the highest number of Gold Awards secured in a single competition at the provincial-level or above.

The participating projects of Moutai Institute are closely aligned with industry challenges and social needs, deeply integrated with disciplinary characteristics and cutting-edge industrial trends. Focusing on advantageous fields such as Brewing Engineering, Food Science, Resource Recycling, and Biotechnology, these projects demonstrate distinct innovation and applicability. Among them, the Gold Award projects: "Fungi-Driven Guizhou Sourness: Revitalizing New Pickle Agriculture", "Jujube Awakening Initiative", "Se -- Limitless Hope", and " Kweichow Moutai Fungi Prosperity", balance cutting-edge exploration with practical outcomes in areas such as the high-value utilization of brewing by-products and the research and development of functional foods.
The Silver Award projects, including "Pure Pits Fermentation & Brewing" and "Algae Energy Program", demonstrate significant transformation potential and application prospects in fields such as intelligent equipment innovation and environmental protection technology. The Bronze Award projects, such as "Pipeline Fish Warehouse" and "Guizhou Fermentation Elegance", fully reflect the students' solid professional foundation, interdisciplinary integration capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
The Institute attaches great importance to this competition, using it as a crucial platform to test the effectiveness of innovation and entrepreneurship education and enhance students' practical abilities. It has systematically built an entire process competition preparation mechanism covering "Institute-level mobilization, School-level cultivation, Multiple rounds of refinement, and Simulated roadshows". Through organizing specialized training, expert guidance, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the quality and competitiveness of the projects have bee continuously improved. Ultimately, all 15 teams selected through the Institute-level competition to participate in the provincial competition won awards.

The achievements in this provincial competition vividly demonstrate the continuous efforts of Moutai Institute in building a five-dimensional integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education system, which encompasses "Classroom teaching, Entrepreneurship training, Disciplinary competitions, Innovation and Entrepreneurship training, and Achievement incubation".
