Recent reviews indicate that the College English Extensive Reading series, with Professor Wang Jianfang serving as chief editor, was included in the lists of planned textbooks for undergraduate education published by education authorities in multiple provinces between 2024 and 2025.

Specifically, Volume 1 was selected as a “14th Five-Year Plan” undergraduate planned textbook for Hebei Province; Volume 2 was selected for the same distinction in Zhejiang Province; and Volume 3 was recognized as a first-class textbook for undergraduate education in Shandong Province (Third Batch). This widespread recognition across multiple regions underscores the series' outstanding quality and practical value.
